The incomparable Cal Bostick. That's the only way to describe this genius who is to the piano what Les Paul was to the guitar.
Your father,Ca; Jr., had a beautiful voice. I remember him as a dear friend of my father's. Your father sang at the Dragon Room in Port Arthur, Ontario. Bless him and the memories of his very beautiful voice...I remember he sang "Nanibijou." I believe he write this beautiful piece.

I have a large collection of hand written works and other related items by Cal Bostic. They were discovered in an estate in Erie Pa. I was thinking of listing the collection on ebay. That's what lead me to you while doing some research. Then I read his sons comment and I thought he might like to know before I list them. maybe if it's not to much trouble you could email him for me. thanks Gregg
I would be interested in see what you have before you put them on eBay. What would be the best way to talk direct?
Hello sir, I'm happy you responded to my message. You can go to ebay and look up bambinostuff thats my ID. You can contact me and we can go from their. I'm excited to talk to you. Gregg
Hi I found this website because I googled Cal's name. I have a picture when I was an infant of Cal holding me. I think he may have been a friend of my father's.
If you could email me the photos I would love to add them to my blog posting. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
Please scan and send to me if you can with a little background information of the year and place of the photo.
Just listened to an LP “Cal Bostic at Toftrees” it’s a set he did in 1973 at the restaurant La Papillon at state college PA. Your dad is amazing! Anybody else have this record??
I googled him and not a lot came up?! Maybe a family or fan could make a fan page I’m just discovering him for the first time!
Hi, I'm sorry that it's been a while since I've been on. To norecordsnobs, I'll do that. To Cal Jr. give me an email and I'll send it. Unfortunately I don't have much info just a year possibly. What's crazy is that I found out about 9 years ago that I was adopted. Before I found that out, I wondered why the earliest pics of me wasn't at birth but I was about 2-3 months old and I was being held by a man I never knew.. Cal Bostic. So I was impressed that my adopted father knew him.
Please inform us of Cal Health we loved him
Please let me no what ever happen to Cal he was a very close friend to me and my wife
I know you Dad from The Van Orman in Ft. Wayne, in 1965. He was the only, Pianist that could play Dizzy Fingers. He could just, recall it, at first but made it a part of his Show, when-ever he saw me. I bless his Memory!
Thanks so much Robert. Yes he was a great player of the keyboard and I still miss him today. We have his music and what a thrill we have folks like you that still remember him so fondly. Thanks again and keep in touch.
Just wanted to wish you and yours a Very HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Your Dad will always be a found Memory for me (as long as it might last)!
I was very lucky to have seen Cal Bostic perform live in Fort William and Port Arthur in the 60’s. Even as a child I knew he was someone special. I ended up in the music business myself and cherished a record of Cal’s that was given to me by the manager of the Dragon Room, Prince Arthur cafe. A class act.
